Gail M. Haaser, 70 of Fostoria, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at St. Catherine’s Manor, Fostoria.

She was born September 11, 1949 in Fostoria to the late Alexander M. “Alex” and Betty F. (Wagner) Howard. She married Len Haaser and they later divorced.

Surviving are five brothers and sisters, Gary (Diane) Howard of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Lynda Abell of Fostoria, Fred (Rob) Howard of Tiffin, Arlene “Dee” (Michael) Steve of Fostoria and Dawn Ann Morgart of Fostoria; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Ryan M. Haaser (2016).

Gail attended St. Wendelin School and graduated from Fostoria High School. She was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and had worked at Ford Motor Company, Fostoria, for 10 years and then Fashion Bug, Findlay.

Gail enjoyed visiting Amish Country and decorating her home. She loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. She will be fondly remembered for her unique humor and her good, kind, gentle ways. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at St. Wendelin Cemetery with Rev. Todd Dominique presiding.

Burial will follow next to her son and parents.
