Konner Logston also singled and drove in a run for the Royals (10-6, 4-3 NBC) who were outhit 11-6 by the Redmen (10-10, 5-5).

Trey Groves had two hits and two RBIs for Fostoria while Jesus Garcia also singled and plated a run.

Trey Hovest singled and drove in the only run for the Rockets.

BASCOM — Ethan Owalt held Riverdale in check and his Hopewell-Loudon teammates gave him plenty of run support in Wednesday’s 12-1 Blanchard Valley Conference baseball win against the Falcons.

Oswalt allowed one run on two hits with three walks and eight strikeouts in the win.

Hopewell-Loudon’s Travis Milligan and Ethan Watkins both had three singles with two RBIs. Cody Balliet singled twice with three RBIs and Gage Burns and Adam Sendelbach (2 RBIs) added a triple and double respectively for the Chieftains (14-5 overall, 7-2 BVC).

Seth McElree and Alec Loveridge singled for Riverdale (7-8, 3-5).

Theis struck out nine and walked two in the win as New Riegel improved to 8-8 overall and 6-5 in the SBC River Division.

Nick Reinhart doubled twice with three RBIs. Cole Noftz chipped in a double for the Blue Jackets.
