CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (AP) — The grandson of an 84-year-old central Ohio man killed during a break-in has been charged in his death.
Three others also were indicted Friday in the slaying while a fifth person was charged with burglary and theft.
Two of the five charged are teens.
The Pickaway County Sheriff’s office says 84-year-old Thomas Whitson was found dead at his home last weekend after what appeared to be a robbery.
Investigators say they recovered several firearms that were missing from Whitson’s home in Orient.
Charges against Whitson’s grandson include aggravated murder, aggravated burglary and grand theft.
