WASHINGTON (AP) — A person familiar with the situation says receiver Andre Roberts’ deal with the Washington Redskins is worth a base value of $16 million over four years with $8 million guaranteed.
The person says Roberts will get a $4 million signing bonus, and that the deal could be worth up to $17.35 million with incentives. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because Roberts has yet to sign the contract.
The person says the former Arizona Cardinals wideout agreed to the terms Tuesday. He is scheduled to take his physical Wednesday and then sign his deal.
The Redskins also reached deals guard Shawn Lauvao and linebacker Adam Hayward and re-signed inside linebacker Perry Riley and receiver Santana Moss on a busy first day of NFL free agency.
