Douglas Lane Dyer, 65 of Mt. Blanchard, Ohio, died at 12:48 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.
He was born on July 9, 1952 in Findlay, Ohio, to Lane and Alice (Wineland) Dyer. His father is deceased and his mother survives. He married Ellen Suzanne “Sue” Keller on Aug. 23, 1974 and she died on Sept. 25, 2009.
He is survived by a son, Christopher (Melissa) Dyer of Findlay; daughter, Victoria (Chris) Kent of Fostoria; brother, Larry (Holly) Dyer of Mt. Blanchard; and grandchildren, Allyson Beechum, Nicholas Kent, Stormie Dyer and Shelby Dyer.
He had been a truck driver and a former member of Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church with a memorial service at the church at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pastor Brett Kelly will officiate and interment will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by the CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Arlington.
Memorials may be given to either Bridge Hospice or made out to the family for expenses in care of CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
