Rebecca Sue Comer, 53 of Bascom, passed away at 5:35 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
She was born January 30, 1964 in Fostoria. Her father, Robert Crawford, is deceased and her mother, Judy (Braman) Hollinger, survives in Fostoria. She married Kevin Comer January 20, 1984 in Fostoria and he survives in Bascom. They shared 33 years of marriage.
Also surviving are daughters, Sarah Comer and Corrin (Nathan) Daniel of Bascom; sisters, Roxann Crawford of Fostoria, Rhonda Greer of Troy and Sunny (Davis) McNeil of Findlay; brother, Robert Crawford II of Sandusky; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Markie and Doyle Comer of Fostoria; sister-in-law, Lisa Clouse of Fostoria; and uncle, Jerry Weber of Florida.
She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Allen “Buzz” Hollinger.
Rebecca retired from Chrysler, Perrysburg, after 22 years of service. She had been a member of the Tiffin Moose. She loved to shop, fish and travel. She was a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Vikings.
Everyone who loved our “Becka Sue” knew her generosity and how she was always willing to help anyone. She loved and cherished her family and will be dearly missed.
Visitation is Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Kenny Durtsche presiding. Burial will follow in Fountain Cemetery.
