Mary C. Williams, 76, of Fostoria, passed away at 7 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
She was born March 4, 1941 in Tiffin to the late Donald and Catherine (Borer) Carp. She married Firmin C. Williams on November 26, 1964 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Liberty Twp., and he survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving is a daughter, Sandra (David) Cooley, Tiffin; and two sons, Robert Williams, Bluffton and Gary (Trisha) Williams, Tiffin; six grandchildren, Janelle Turpin, Justin (Kaitlyn) Turpin, Sophie, Donovan, Alyvia and Chad; two great grandchildren, Mason Trumbull and Madilyn Turpin; two sisters, Janet Crawford, Tiffin and Theresa (Rick) Huffman, Tiffin; two brothers, Joe (Theresa) Carp, New Riegel and Art Carp, Marion; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Carp, Fostoria.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Ed Carp; and a sister, Barb St. Marie.
Mary was a homemaker, member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church and the 55 plus club. She loved her family, especially the time she spent with her grand and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners with her family and playing cards, bingo, and was an active and successful participant in the SAIDO program at Good Shepherd Home.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017 at HOENING FUNERAL HOME 242 W. Tiffin Street, Fostoria.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with the Rev. Todd Dominique presiding. A Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m.
A funeral lunch will follow the Mass in the Parish Hall. Burial is in St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Wendelin Church, Good Shepherd Home Activities Fund or Bridge Hospice.
