Antonio Leal, 56 of Fostoria, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born January 17, 1958 in Fostoria to Manuel Leal, Sr. and Porfiria (Martinez) Leal, and they survive.
He also is survived by his daughter, Antonette (Nick) Sanchez of Fort Campbell, KY; brother, Ricardo (Jeannie Hartley) Leal of Bellevue; sisters, Tina Coppus of Fostoria, Anna (Jeff) Brown of Lima, Margie (Tim) Burns and Maria Martinez, both of Fostoria; grandchildren, Melody, Sophia, and Jeremiah Sanchez; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Manuel Leal, Jr. and Daniel Leal.
Antonio was a 1977 graduate of Fostoria High School. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church. He enjoyed carpentry work with his uncle Jr., watching sports on television, especially wrestling and boxing, and going for walks in the outdoors. But most of all he loved children, and enjoyed his grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
All services will be held privately. Antonio will be laid to rest in the St. Wendelin Parish Cemetery.
Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, has been entrusted with arrangements.
