Jeffrey W. Lininger

Jeffrey W. Lininger, 39, of Arcadia, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Monday, March 3, 2014.
He was born April 27, 1974 in Fostoria to James “Boe” and Sharyn (Filliater) Lininger. He married Vicki Bame May 9, 2009 in Tiffin, and she survives him.
Also left to cherish his memory is his son, Joel Michael Lininger; two brothers, Jamie (Charlotte) Lininger of New Riegel and Jason (Carmen) Lininger of Carey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rick and Deb Bame of Arcadia; maternal grandmother, Lucy Filliater of Arizona; six nieces, Jacquelyn and Kayleigh Lininger, Kayla Wood, and Grace, Corinne and Claire Bame; one nephew, Justin Lininger; brother-in-law, Rich (Julie) Bame of Wauseon; and sister-in-law, Amanda (Jon) Moyer of Fostoria; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeff worked out of his home as a computer software consultant for Vision 33, Toledo. He was a 1992 St. Wendelin High School graduate, and a graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned a dual degree in Logistics and Business Management in 1997. While attending the university he bowled two 300 games and the team was ranked 4th in the country.
Jeff remained an avid Ohio State fan. He is also named in the Jr. Bowlers Hall of Fame at Seneca Lanes.
Jeff loved to golf and he accomplished two holes in one at Lakeland Golf Course.
Jeff was a hard-working conscientious man with a good sense of humor. He was a devoted husband, father, and son who will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014 at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria where a Christian Wake Service will begin at 4 p.m. The family suggests wearing OSU scarlet and gray attire during visitation.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, where a Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow in St. Wendelin Parish Cemetery, Fostoria.
In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to a fund being established for his son, Joel, for his education c/o Hoening Funeral Home.
