Junior High Basketball: H-L, New Riegel split games

Hopewell-Loudon’s junior high boys basketball teams swept a pair of games against New Riegel on Tuesday.
However, New Riegel’s junior high girls teams won both of its contests against Hopewell-Loudon on Tuesday, as well.
Hopewell-Loudon won the eighth grade boys game 49-43 behind Reid Jury’s 22 points and 11 points from Ashton Bour.
The Chieftains took the seventh grade game 32-23 as George Beucler scored 15 points and Hayden Welly added 12 points.
On the girls side, New Riegel’s Aubrey Bouillon had 14 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists to propel the eighth grade team to a 23-19 win.
Jordyn Dillon’s eight points and Candace Bouillon’s four points and five rebounds paced the Blue Jackets’ seventh-grade team in its 19-14 victory.
