PANDORA — Arcadia overcame a 2-1 deficit and chalked up two-point wins in the fourth and fifth sets to outlast Pandora-Gilboa 18-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13 in a marathon Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball match on Wednesday.
Samantha Watkins was 44 for 53 spiking with 17 kills, Tori Green 37 for 43 spiking with 18 kills and four blocks, and Emma Saltzman 35 for 42 spiking with seven kills as Arcadia evened off overall (6-6) and in the BVC (3-3).
Caity Cramer was 20 for 20 serving with 10 points and 150 of 159 setting with 46 assists. Sydney Ramsey had 34 digs and Watkins 21 for the Redskins.
Pandora-Gilboa got a monster game from Paige Fenstermaker, a 6-foot senior who had 28 kills, 23 digs and eight blocks. Kayla Ferguson had 10 kills and 34 digs.
Addilyn Diller (14 digs) had a team-high 39 assists, and Madison Hovest added 24 digs for the Rockets (6-6, 3-3 BVC).

Caitlin Elseser chipped in seven kills and six blocks while Alissa Rhodes totaled 21 assists on 52 of 53 setting for the Eagles (12-0, 6-0 BVC), ranked No. 9 in the state in Division III.
Amanda Clymer led Vanlue (5-8, 1-5) with 10 kills, seven digs, six blocks and four points while Emma Biller and Audrey Phillips each had eight assists.

BASCOM — Kenadee Siebenaller led the match with seven kills and blocked five Cory-Rawson attacks in leading Hopewell-Loudon over the Hornets 25-6, 25-9, 25-9 in Wednesday’s Blanchard Valley Conference action.
Jessie Kreais was close behind Siebenaller with six kills and two blocks for the Chieftains, who improved to 10-3 overall and 5-1 in the BVC, while Peyton Hoover led with two aces and shipped in five kills.
Sami Roth led C-R (3-6, 1-5 BVC) with five kills and 12 digs with perfect 5 of 5 serving and 9 of 9 hitting. Roni Risner also had 12 digs and Riley Garmatter set a perfect 29 of 29 with a team-high seven assists.

NORTH BALTIMORE — Van Buren swept North Baltimore 25-13, 25-13, 25-11 as Lydia Reineke buried 14 kills for the Black Knights in Wednesday’s Blanchard Valley Conference match.
Reineke added five digs and perfect 13 of 13 serving, while Emma Reineke chipped in six kills and a team-high two blocks for Van Buren (7-6, 2-4 BVC).
Mackenzie Saltzman served a perfect 10 of 10 with two aces and a team-best seven digs, Lindsey Shaw dished 29 assists with six digs and five kills, and Sydney Leeper also added five kills for the Knights.
North Baltimore dropped to 1-9 on the season, 1-5 in the conference.

ADA — Seven different players scored for Van Buren on Wednesday leading the Black Knights 7-0 over Ada in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match.
Lisa Simmons jump-started Van Buren’s offense with a goal less than five minutes in on assists from Annie Mowrey and Morgan Jackson. Zoe Horne and Issy Pawlak added first-half goal for the Knights (5-4-2, 3-1 NCOSA), who remain second in the conference behind Riverdale’s perfect NCOSA record, while Mady Parker, Emily Scherf, Hannah Missler and Mia George scored in the second half.
