Bulldogs win 2nd straight Lakeland Invitational title

Rossford captured its second straight Lakeland Invitational title on Friday by edging runner-up Lake 318-323.
Springfield’s Jace Fleischman shot a 75 as the overall medalist, leading the Blue Devils to a fifth place finish at 334 — behind Cardinal Stritch at 326 and Eastwood at 333.
Hunter Chalfin fired a 79 lead Lakota to a sixth place at 341 strokes. Josh Mason scored an 80 whlie Collin Gosche carded an 89 and Dillon Schiebel totaled a 93 for the Raiders.
Nathan Walter added a 111 for Lakota.
Jack Burkes recorded a team-high 84 for Tiffin Columbian which ended in seventh at 351.
Arcadia took eighth place at 366 strokes, led by Jake Hill’s 87. Alic Davis and Kyle Inbody each shot 89 for the Redskins while Zach Salazar fired a 101 and Riley Dean added a 102.
Fostoria High School finished with 399 strokes, led by Trey Yates at 86 strokes.
Tyler Agapiou chipped in a 98 and Isaiah Brough had a 99 for the Redmen.
Dalton Cook finished at 116 and Jeremiah Brough also brought in a 122 for FHS.
OAK HARBOR — Danbury and Elmwood each carded a 235 on Friday, but the Lakers won the fifth-woman scorecard playoff as Mikahla Conrda’s 67 was one stroke better than Michaela Shinew’s 68 at Oak Harbor Golf Club.
Alexis Miller carded a medalist-winning score of 46 for the Royals (0-2) while Bri Adams led Danbury with a 54.
Heather Ickes followed Miller with a 55 and Maggie Tuite added a 66. Katie Benedict also scored a 68 for the Royals.
Sarah Redett fired a 57, Erin Uhinck finished at 60 and Felicia Cain shot a 64 for the Lakers.
