Multiple media outlets have reported that Ohio State and Liberty-Benton graduate Aaron Craft has signed a contract with the Golden State Warriors.
The Columbus Dispatch and San Jose Mercury News both broke the news on Craft signing Wednesday afternoon.
Craft signed a one-year, partially-guaranteed contract with the Warriors after playing for their NBA Summer League team, according to the Dispatch.
Craft averaged 7.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 2.4 assists in five summer league games for the Warriors, who are in the market for a back-up guard after reserve point guard Nemanja Nedovic suffered a foot injury while playing with the Serbian national team.
After starring at Liberty-Benton, Craft played four seasons for the Buckeyes and was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year twice during his career.
NBA training camps open in late September.
