BOWLING GREEN — Alexis Rogers scored a game-high 18 points as Bowling Green State University allowed Kent State just 12 second-half points Thursday night in an 82-38 Mid-American Conference victory at the Stroh Center.
Rogers made seven of her eight field-goal attempts and added four steals as the Falcons shot 56.9 percent (29 of 51) from the field while raising their record to 24-3 overall and 14-1 in the MAC.
Jillian Halfhill collected 15 points and five assists for BGSU, while Jasmine Matthews scored 13 and Erica Donovan tossed in 11. Donovan and Jill Stein snared six rebounds apiece, with Stein also blocking three shots. Deborah Hoekstra made three steals.
CiCi Shannon paced the Golden Flashes (6-20, 3-12) with 10 points, seven rebounds and five blocked shots.
