Arcadia runs over Lakota

KANSAS — Molly Glick scored 20 points and Courtney Cramer added 18 as Arcadia smashed Lakota 63-31 Saturday night in a nonconference game.
The Redskins (15-4), who led 31-12 at halftime, shot 50.9 percent (28 of 55) from the field, including 56.8 percent (25 of 44) from inside the 3-point arc.
Glick also grabbed seven rebounds and made six steals, Cramer recorded four assists and four steals, while Taylor Ware snared eight boards and Abbie Dauterman came up with five steals for Arcadia.
Katie Park finished with eight points to lead the Raiders (3-14). Morgan Gangwer grabbed a team-high four rebounds.

TIFFIN — Valesha Province’s 16 points led three Tiffin Columbian scorers in double figures Saturday as the Tornadoes dropped Fostoria High School 54-38 in nonleague action.
Columbian, which improved to 3-14, outscored the Lady Red 13-3 in the second quarter to build a 28-18 halftime lead.
Payge Smith netted 12 points and Laura Heminger added 10 for the Tornadoes, while Province added nine rebounds and three assists.
Jada Hampton tallied 19 points and a pair of steals to lead Fostoria (1-17). Alexus Smith grabbed nine rebounds and Olivia Valenti passed for two assists.

MILLBURY — Kristen Curtis’ double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds helped Elmwood edge Lake 55-49 Saturday in a Northern Buckeye Conference girls basketball game Saturday.
The Royals (15-5 overall, 12-1 NBC), who clinched their second straight conference championship last week, had a 14-6 advantage at the free-throw line and used a 17-4 second-quarter advantage to take a 34-21 halftime lead.
Tiffany Hillard added 16 points for Elmwood.
Alexis Hansen scored 15 points and Catie Phalen added 11 for Lake (9-10, 6-6), which was outrebounded 38-17.
