Weinandy, New Riegel girls win 4-team event

Amanda Weinandy’s two-game 318 series led New Riegel’s girls to first place in a four-team match Tuesday.
The Blue Jackets finished with 15 points to 13 for Lakota, seven for Fostoria High School and five for Tiffin Columbian.
Columbian won the boys competition with 16 points, followed by New Riegel with 11, Fostoria with nine and Lakota with four.
The series for New Riegel’s Weinandy included games of 149 and 169.
Alaina Bickford led Lakota’s girls with a 332 (183-149) series, while Alex Hersch paced Fostoria at 305 (145-160).
Jarrett Mullholand led New Riegel’s boys with a 392 series that included games of 180 and 212. Trey Yates rolled a 386 (175-211) for Fostoria, and Lakota’s Jacob Stewart finished with a 296 (141-155).
