A Bloomdale man was arrested on a pair of sex charges this week after being indicted by the Seneca County Grand Jury back in April.
Shawn Carnicom, 27, Bloomdale, is charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition, one a fourth-degree felony and the other a third-degree felony, for allegedly having sexual contact with a person by purposely compelling the victim to “submit by force or threat of force” on or about June 29, 2013.
He also allegedly had sexual contact with a juvenile under the age of 13 on the same day, his indictment states, according to the indictment.
If convicted, Carnicom faces a maximum sentence of 6 1/2 years in prison.
