Seven treated after fire system issue

Several employees of Seneca County Jail were treated and released from Mercy Tiffin Hospital Wednesday after a fire suppression system accidentally went off.
According to published reports, a halon gas fire suppression system activated Wednesday morning, sending seven employees to the hospital for precautionary measures. Several ambulances were dispatched to the jail to transport the employees to the hospital, and all employees have been released.
A call seeking comment from Seneca County Sheriff William Eckelberry was not returned by presstime.
