Arcadia park vandalized

Arcadia Lions Club is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for vandalism that occurred Sunday night at the village’s community park.
Small trees were destroyed and flowers ripped out of the ground and planters. Trash was also strewn throughout the grounds.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 419-425-TIPS.
Lions Club President Don Moses, who voluntarily maintains the park, said his son noticed the damage while driving to work Monday morning.
“It’s a shame, especially when you work so hard to make something look nice,” said Moses. “We’ve gotten so many comments about how beautiful it is here.”
The club is responsible for maintaining the park. The Arcadia Garden Club provides money each year for flowers, Moses said.
