A storage building and its contents were destroyed in a fire Monday evening near New Riegel, according to the Advertiser-Tribune.
The fire was reported at 3870 Seneca County 47, northeast of New Riegel, at about 5:35 p.m.; firefighters from the NBS Joint Fire District and Bascom Joint Fire District responded to the call.
Capt. Mike Reinhart of NBS Joint Fire District said the shop was heated by a wood burner, and that the building, tools and a Chevrolet Silverado were destroyed in the fire.
The fire was extinguished after about two hours and no injuries were reported, Reinhart said. The cause of the fire had not been determined as of Monday night.
