TIFFIN — Jennifer Miller, assistant treasurer of Findlay City Schools, has been selected to be the City of Tiffin’s next finance director.
Tiffin Mayor Aaron Montz announced the appointment during Tiffin City Council’s meeting this week. Council will vote on the appointment at its Sept. 18 meeting.
Miller will replace Gwynn Reinhart, who is retiring after more than 10 years. Her last day will be Nov. 3.
Miller has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and management. She currently serves as assistant treasurer of Findlay City Schools, and previously worked as a state auditor.
Miller is expected to begin her new job on Sept. 25, training under Reinhart.
There were 26 applications for the position, and nine candidates were interviewed.
