The University of Findlay has announced that it will offer a new master’s degree program in applied security and analytics, starting in the spring 2016 semester.
The new program is designed to be completed in two years, and will focus on areas that range from secure coding and risk analysis to data analytics and visualization.
UF said it is the only Ohio institution offering this degree.
“The need is strong in the State of Ohio and nationwide for individuals who possess a combination of strong technical and business skills and can contribute toward a changing world through innovative and ethical problem-solving,” said Mary Jo Geise, professor of computer science and co-chair of UF’s computer science program.
A detailed list of criteria to qualify for the program, along with other information, can be found on the University of Findlay’s website.
