Heavy rain and high winds are expected to rip through the Fostoria area until late this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
Radio traffic indicates debris down in various parts of town, including but not limited to East Fremont, North Union and North Countyline streets and Midblock.
Officers are checking the underpasses and roadways for flooding.
According to the National Weather Service, the primary threat of this storm will be damaging winds; however, large hail is possible as well as an isolated tornado.
