Charges are pending for a Fostoria man who allegedly took photos of juveniles inside a restroom at Fostoria Municipal Swimming Pool Tuesday afternoon.
According to Fostoria Police Chief Keith Loreno, officers responded to a report of a male in the bathroom taking pictures of juveniles at approximately 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.
When police arrived on scene, Loreno said officers confiscated one Verizon LG phone as evidence for the investigation. The phone will be sent to Ohio Bureau of Crime Scene Investigation for analysis with charges pending once results are available in the coming weeks.
The subject, a 22-year-old male, was not arrested, Loreno said, but he was instructed to never return to the city pool. Additionally, Loreno said he does believe the subject has some sort of “disability,” which will also be determined as the investigation proceeds.
Loreno said he hopes to have the case expedited to speed up the investigation process.
