State shuts down Fostoria bar

FOSTORIA–State agents are in Fostoria tonight, removing alcohol and business proceeds from Los Tocallos Bar and Restaurant, 203 N. Main St., because it doesn’t have a liquor license.

An officer from the Ohio Investigative Unit in Toledo said the unit received an anonymous call last month reporting the bar was operating without a license. Finding the complaint to be accurate, officers carted boxes of alcohol out of the establishment after 9 p.m. today.

Officers said the matter will be handled through the Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court. The business will not be permitted to sell alcohol until a valid license is obtained from the Division of Liquor Control, according to the officer, who wished to remain anonymous due to undercover operations.
