As the weather and road conditions improve, roadway warnings have been downgraded or dropped in most area counties.
Hardin County remains on a Level 2 alert. Level 2 means, “Roadways are extremely hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who feel it necessary to travel should be on the roadways.”
Putnam County downgraded its alert to Level 1. Level 1 means, “Roadways are snow-covered and icy. Drive carefully.”
Other area counties, including Hancock, have canceled their alerts.
