Property purchased for residential treatment center

Century Health has purchased a Crystal Avenue building for a residential treatment center.

Sale of the property, 2627 Crystal Ave., Findlay, was completed Friday, said Tina Pine, executive director of Century Health.

The center will offer substance abuse treatment to the eight men and four women housed there. The project with renovations will cost about $600,000, said Pine.

Contributions have come from the Ohio Department of Mental Health, a federal home loan program, the Hancock County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services board, Marathon Petroleum Corp., Century Health and Huntington Bank, Pine said.

Officials with the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services board have said they hope to provide treatment there this year.
