KENTON — A Dunkirk man was hurt Friday night when his car slid off a Hardin County road and hit a utility pole south of Kenton, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.
The patrol said Caleb Delong, 20, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by BKP Emergency Medical Service to Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
Delong was driving a 2001 Kia Sportage on east on Hardin County 160, near Buck Township 179, about 7:21 p.m. when he lost control on the snow-covered road and struck a utility pole, the patrol said.
The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed by Osborn’s Towing.
Assisting at the accident scene were the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office and Kenton Fire Department.
The crash remained under investigation late Friday.
