Several drivers have lost control on snow-covered roads today, but regional law enforcement officials say there have been no resulting injuries.
“I think every accident has happened so far on the interstate,” said a Hancock County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher this afternoon. “I don’t think we’ve had any on county roads.”
The Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported the same news. “It’s just been normal slide-offs,” a dispatcher there said. “I’m sure it’ll get interesting once the wind picks up more.”
Towing companies have stayed busy throughout the day pulling vehicles out of ditches and freeway medians. Some collisions have happened in various places, particularly on I-75, that were initially thought to have caused injuries, but didn’t.
