Fostoria CC practice slated

Boys and girls planning to run cross country for Fostoria High School this season should meet for practice at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the gym doors. Junior high runners will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the school’s gym doors.

Magers makes hole-in-one

Pat Magers of Fostoria recorded a hole-in-one Monday on hole No. 2 at Loudon Meadows Golf Club. Magers used a 5 iron to sink the ace from 150 yards away. George Scott and Doc Bettenhausen witnessed the accomplishment.
