FCH Relay team, ACS discuss toy collectionThe request to collect toys for patients at the hospice came from the family of Nate Elfrink, a central Ohio boy suffering from brain cancer. His parents' wish for Christmas cards to be sent to their son while he was in hospice care brought on an avalanche of cardstock greetings to their home.
The family eventually requested that strangers from all over the world stop sending cards and instead donate to charitable donations in Nate's honor.
